We would love to talk with you about our Waterfront Operations Manager/Dockmaster position. This key role oversees waterfront safety and operations for our shipyard, which proudly produces the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer for the U.S. Navy. As the principal expert directly responsible for executing the transfer, undocking, and docking of all vessels in the shipyard, the successful candidate should have 10 years’ experience in the shipbuilding industry including education in Naval Architecture and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the operation of floating dry docks. The Dockmaster manages a multi-disciplinary crew to conduct maintenance, repair and operation of our floating Dry Dock, reporting to the Vice President of Facilities and working closely with the Director of Test & Trials.
